Alrighty!!! This is week three! I fell of the wagon yesterday with no workout - no time - and one meal that was off schedule. I didn't write a journal entry either. BUT . . . . Here is how I have gotten back ON the wagon! Today I ran 1.73 on "Trusty Treadmill" 20 minute sprint session of course! I didn't push it as hard or as fast as some days previously, but it still got my heart rate up and I was a sweatn. It got in 3 liters of water and had all meals as needed.

I want to be consistent with the weight loss. On Sunday I weighed in at 128!!!! I'm a looser!!!! I hope I can still be a looser this week :)

Well the weekend is almost here. I'm docking points from yesterday because I did not make a journal entry. I did maintain all other commitments however.

Yesterday's workout was a 20 min sprint session on the treadmill

Total distance 1.83mi

I've got to say that is my fav. cardio routine because of the short duration, and tons of calories burned. Anytime there is interval training done, say a big fat c-ya to fat! I can use that. Just about to go for a run. Todays plan is to lengthen the run to an outside 3 or 4 miler. I will do 1 min sprint every 10 min. The days are getting cooler. For some reason that pushes me - maybe because I smolter in the heat. Ideal temp to run in for me is the 40's and 50's. I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow - I love to plan my treat - Still no decision made yet . . .

Todays workout conisted of 1.5 hrs of leotards, tights, and slippers! Back at Ballet. It was nice to see everyone again. I realized I have a lot of work to do as I bend less, stretch less and see more in the creases in the leo.

To be served on a whole wheat tortilla with green lettuce and cherry tomatoes

Today's run ROCKED!! 20 min sprint session on my trusty treadmill - 1.9 miles ran! That is a personal record for a sprint session for me.

Eating is going well - everything staying on tract.
Me and the throne are tight as my water intake is consistant. It makes it hard by the end of my workouts however.

Getting the running bug again - may try to do Zeitgeist after this competition - We will see how my distance running game goes.

Starting to think about Robie in April - wondering if I've got it in me. (And the time to train)

I love my two mile run. Got farther today than yesterday. I felt stronger but the sprint sessions are always a doozie. I got a honk from two teenage kids driving by so I must be doing something right, ha! ha!

Day 4

I uploaded a photo of last Christmas - I was in great shape fitting into my skinny jeans - I got sand in my camera and it is not working right now - I am going to have to get a current photo up soon to see a change.

Thoughts on eating:
Well I ate breakfast a bit late - as Lil Rhett has a sparatic sleep schedule - I am having to have a protein shake for my 5th meal after dinner. It is kind of nice. I'll have it at about 9pm since I'm up till about 10:30 or 11pm.

TODAY'S WORKOUT:

*After the first two group sprints, My heart rate was 32 in ten second increments!! YIKES! Too high. I ran at 5.0 for a min and 5.5 for a minute until my breathing stabilized and heart rate was to 29 in a 10 sec. increment. The Last sprint repeat I added a 7.0 minute. Total distance: 1.88 miles YES!

So far I have kept all rules to the game. I do have a question about last nights snack though. At a church youth group activity was a birthday celebration - I had a small piece of cake. It was about 2x2 inches in size. I am thinking it is still OK, but if there is any attestations - let me know.

If there are no disputations, perfect score every Day - It feels really good.

Just finished my workout - I wanted to share it because it is a whopper you should all try. I ran just 10 minutes on the treadmill. I start at a moderate pace then on the 4th min up it up 5 beeps. At the end of that minute drop it down to the mod. pace. I repeated that sequence until 10 min. W/O a cool down I grabbed a 5lb weight in each hand and did the following excercises each for 1 minute: (as fast as I could of course)

Upright rows
Alternating static arm curls
Leaning tricep extensions
Straight arm raises
In/Out bicep curls
Overhead tricep extensions

W/O weights:
Forward/Backward lunges
Squat w/ calf raises
Gaucho Walk - killer
2nd position Grande Plies
3 direction calf raises

On a excercise ball - hold crunch for 1 min holding abs toward spine

3 minutes sitting on ball doing tahitian style hips w/ ab power - Todays music choice for this excercise was AC/DC "Back in Black" - FUN!!

Rhett is eating everything I am - not doing as much water though - It will be interresting If I can loose more weight than my hubby. He just thinks about loosing weight and he does. Not fair. He's been a good sport about the meals - I think he's hungry though- last night he at a bowl of Golden Grams at 9:30 - that is my favorite cereal . . . I just had to ignore it.

It feels good to be more active again. I am already feeling better. It is good to have encouragement and knowing you are all counting on me to do well, just as I am counting on the "HOT MOMMIES" to KICK SOME TRASH in this contest!!

The workout was in the evening because little Rhett was up at 3AM and my alarm going off at 5:30 was not gonna happen!!
